Abstract
Crimes against cultural heritage are one of the types of crimes without a victim, although it does not have a specific victim but it makes the whole society victim; therefore, in all societies, this category of crimes has received the attention of criminal policymakers. These crimes are also known as crimes against public comfort in Iran's criminal policy; But considering the ancient civilization of Iran and the abundance of examples of cultural heritage, which in turn is considered a national wealth, it is necessary to examine the identified examples of this crime in Iran's criminal policy and study each and every one of these examples. Therefore, in order to investigate this issue with the descriptive-analytical method and library tools, this research has analyzed the criminal policy of Iran and after introducing the important examples of this crime, it has analyzed each of them. Finally, a logical conclusion based on the correct understanding of Iran's policy regarding the importance of crimes against cultural heritage has been made.
