Abstract
Today, many criminologists consider the effective role of cultural structures, especially mass media, in the occurrence of crime. From the perspective of cultural criminology, in addition to the criminal act itself, the crime scene, the news and the media representations associated with it are also important. In its analytical approach to crime, this criminology has a special emphasis on the meaning, symbols, and emotions affecting crime. The important role that can be given to culture and its influence in the legal arena is the role of normative culture. Normalizing society through culture is one of the things that can help prevent crime. The social prevention of crime is realized by altering the cultural structures of society and social relations and effective intervention in cultural and social variables. Cultural environment as the main space for occurrence and analysis of phenomena has a significant impact on the components of social crime prevention.
