Abstract
Land grabbing is one of the ominous phenomena of economic corruption that has increased significantly in the past years despite its importance and the adoption of various laws and regulations to prevent illegal change of land use and cases such as illegal occupation of land. However, there is no criminal title under the title of land grabbing in the laws of Iran, and this term has become popular in most cases in administrative and social customs. Based on this, land grabbing has been defined as a set of fraudulent and illegal actions that are committed to acquire or occupy non-government or non-governmental properties. The findings of this article confirm that Iran's criminal policy is aimed at land grabbing. Repressive and punishing measures and methods, based on indirect criminal laws and titles. Therefore, by taking preventive measures, it is possible to reduce the grounds for committing crimes related to land grabbing.
