Abstract
Recidivism and the return of prisoners to prison are important issues that have always been the concern of the criminal justice system, and the methods of preventing it have been the subject of discussion and opinion. The purpose of this article is to investigate the effect of prison management on the reformation and education of prisoners and prevent them from returning to prison. This present article, which is a kind of fundamental, applied research, has been prepared and compiled using library methods and field studies. The findings indicate that education and vocational training for prisoners, the use or non-use of suspended sentences by convicts, the use or non-use of parole by convicts, the use or by repeat offenders, the use of care under electronic systems , the use of counseling services or social workers in prison, the use or non-use, the relationship status of prisoners with their families, the relationship status of prisoners with other prisoners, including examples of the influence of prison management on reform and educating prisoners and not returning to prison. In cases where punishment instead of imprisonment is widespread and used, the harmful effects of prison are less obvious, whether it be or not. On the other hand, in cases where the alternative punishment of imprisonment has not spread much and its amount is limited, and on the other hand, prisons are facing many problems. Inevitably, the negative effects of prison are more pronounced.
