In line with the implementation of criminal justice, the issue of monetary punishments has been discussed in the literature of legislators and writers of criminal law for many years. Due to the ineffectiveness of imprisonment and in order to reduce the criminal population and prevent the repetition of crimes, the alternative punishment of imprisonment prescribed in articles 64 and 85 of the Islamic Penal Code of 2013, i.e. (fine) was formed. Fines are of interest to legislators due to the ease of implementation, revenue generation for the government, and compensability. The results of the current research, which were collected by the descriptive-analytical method with library tools, show that monetary punishment as a guarantee of not committing many crimes in the judicial system of most countries has become more and more popular day by day. Because on the one hand, the government benefits from its implementation, and on the other hand, as an executive guarantee, disruption of public order is a tool in the hands of the legislator to take advantage of its punitive role in all kinds of preventive measures.
