Among the types of competence are inherent competence and relative competence. Inherent jurisdiction is a type of special jurisdiction of special courts and divided into general and special courts. Children's Court, Special Clergy Court (Church in England) and Military Court are courts with similar inherent jurisdiction and Revolutionary Court in Iran's judiciary and forensic medical court and the court to deal with cases of limitation of citizen's rights in England's judiciary. The relative competence of dividing the courts according to their relationship with each other based on the type of crime committed, the severity of the punishment or a combination of the two is divided into first-degree and second-degree courts, which are divided into two main types and appeals, the first is specific to primary courts, both general and exclusive and the second is divided into primary and appellate courts. In Iranian law, based on the main relative jurisdiction, general courts are divided into criminal courts one and two, special courts, both revolutionary and military, into two degrees one and two, and the children's court and Juveniles are also divided into two levels of juvenile and juvenile criminal court and a special criminal court dealing with juvenile crimes. In English law, based on importance, crimes are divided into three categories: abbreviated, two-faced and indictable, and according to this, the primary courts are divided into two levels of peace and high criminal. The information in this article has been collected through a library and analyzed in a descriptive analytical method. The result of this research is that the inherent and relative jurisdiction is accepted in two legal systems, but the quality and extent of the court's jurisdiction are very different.
